OntoRelay stores account details in WordPress and operational platform records in a separate database. This page describes the initial installation’s data handling and must be reviewed by the operating organization before a public commercial launch.
Account and platform information
WordPress stores your name, email address, password hash, and account settings. The platform stores projects, device identities, permissions, plan entitlements, usage records, and audit events. WordPress uses necessary login and security cookies.
Device messages
When a project has history enabled, telemetry payloads and associated metadata are stored for the account’s retention period. Disabling history clears stored project payloads. Usage accounting is independent of payload retention. Avoid sending personal information or secrets in MQTT payloads unless necessary for your application.
Credentials and external providers
MQTT passwords are generated per device and shown once. Provider integrations are not enabled in V1. OntoRelay does not request Google, Dropbox, or other storage-account passwords.
Account requests
Contact the organization that operates this installation to request account access, correction, export, or deletion. WordPress privacy tools cover WordPress data; the operator must also handle related platform database records and applicable backup retention.
Operational records
Security and application logs, retained MQTT values, and platform backups may contain operational data. The operator controls access, backup handling, and retention. Commercial terms, operator contact information, and any additional legally required notices must be supplied before public registration is promoted.
